THE CHALLENGE
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (COPA) selected Unisys for a groundbreaking on-demand government Cloud Computing Program and is expected to be one of the largest secure, cloud-based, on-demand IT computing implementations by a U.S. state government. Under contract with an estimated value of approximately $681 million, Unisys will consolidate seven data centers into a single secure hybrid cloud to deliver on-demand IT services to state agencies more efficiently and at lower cost.

The Challenge
Our client, Mercatus3, is a digital product development company that needed to provide a secure platform for their customers, ScriptRelief and SingleCare. The challenge of meeting the PCI and HIPPA requirements are both costly and resource intensive. Some of the requirements included log management, vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection and a web application firewall; therefore a multi- vendor solution was required.

By streamlining the complexities of the requirements of both PCI and HIPPA, we delivered a combination of products to achieve the goals that was both cost effective and met the clients long & short term needs.
